Advanced Tab


Party Line provides you with the functionality to share you availability and presence with everyone on Party Line via the Advanced Tab. You can manage your current state and current location with everyone by clicking on the Advanced Tab.



Context State

Party Line allows you to publish and share your Current Context State which best describes your current status (At Home, Working, ....).

State Name and Image

You can switch between states by selecting an alternate State Name from the State Drop Down. On switching between states, the State Image gets updated.



State Description

You can describe your Current Context State through State Description. Context State Description is a 100 character string. You can change the State Description at any point by clicking on the description which activates the description text box allowing you to modify it. Finally, clicking Update freezes the modifications.



Context Location

Party Line allows you to publish and share your Current Location.

Location Name and Image

Party Line enables you to publish and share your current Location. You can switch between locations by entering the location in the Google suggest style type text box. As you type in the letters, Party Line shall give you a list of locations containing the letters entered. You can select a location from the list. On switching between states, the State Image gets updated.



Location Description

Party Line enables you to describe your presence effectively via Location Description. Location Description is a 100 character string. You can change the Location Description at any point by clicking on the description which activates the description text box allowing you ti modify it. Finally, clicking Update freezes the modifications.



Location Time Zone

Party Line enables you to select a time zone corresponding to you current location via the Time Zone Drop Down which in turn displays the local time at your current location, helping others to be in sync with your time zone and location.
